Reynolds is a sharp critic of concentrated power, but she knows critique only gets us so far. In all the spaces where she actively engages — as an attorney, an organizer, a writer, a policy wonk, and a citizen — her goal is to reimagine existing economic and legal relationships. The systems that got us here, to today, cannot get us where we need to go next.

Her project is to dream up alternatives, root those dreams in rigor, amplify them with organizing, and — last but never least — build them.
